Vic: Ambulance royal commission gets under way

A directions hearing into the Metropolitan Ambulance Service Royal Commission has begun
in Melbourne.

Royal Commissioner LEX LASRY QC has given a brief opening address in the Supreme Court.

Lawyers for the key players in the case have been granted leave to appear before the
inquiry, which is not expected to begin before early March.

Among the parties represented are three companies of the Intergraph group, which won
